AKFSA in the Detroit Free Press
Jeff Kukes and Patricia Kukes, founders of AKFSA, sat down last week with Kristen Jordan Shamus of the Detroit Free Press for an interview that yielded a poignant and insightful article. The piece, titled “Anxiety disorder takes a son away forever,” was published on August 26th and tells Andy’s story and the journey the Kukes family embarked on to find help for their son.
It is our hope that this article will generate a new wave of awareness about social anxiety disorder and help families in the Metro Detroit area and across the country.
